I don't often leave commentary for places I have done business with, but whenever something is truly exceptional (good or bad) I feel it's always worthy of a review. In this case, a rave review.

We were referred to Precise Exteriors for roof and skylight replacement and worked with DJ.

DJ is a great communicator. He's personable, non-judgmental and walks you through any aspect of the process that you find hard or confusing and helps explain it all to you in a patient and less complicated way until you understand.

I especially found this helpful because we were working with our insurance on the cost of roof and as with anything, there is a process and varying deadlines and it was all just very confusing to me. DJ helped explain everything and walked me through every step, oftentimes more than once.

DJ kept in contact with us on any changing factors like weather and he also shared a cool picture tool as part of the process so you can see a timeline of the work being done for the day. I really liked this as we had him at our rental property and I couldn't be there in person to see the work in real time.

On top of all this, I want to say our property is in St. Paul and is over 100 years old which means that house is very high and very narrow and is very close to our neighbors. This was an extremely difficult job for DJ and his crew but never did I hear 'we may not be able to do this, or do that'. Ever. DJ didn't have changing prices, changing timelines, or anything that caused us stress about the situation.

I say it was like a dream because it really felt like it. He told us a price, that was the price, he worked with our insurance company and spoke that language so we didn't have to, and he was reliable and the work turned out fantastic and looks amazing.

Arrived as planned with an experienced crew that completed the work by cleaning up all debris earlier then expected. Oh yes, while installing their windows they saw that another of our skylights hadn't been installed correctly and was leaking heat.
