Insurance Work

Precise Exteriors proudly serves Minnesota and Wisconsin with expert roofing, siding and exterior services. In addition to helping homeowners realize the full potential and curb appeal of their homes, we also work with your insurance! Storms can wreak havoc on a home in both big and small ways, so it is important to examine your all parts of your home including your roof, siding, gutters, etc and look for all damage after the storm has passed. Even the smallest issues can turn into big problems for your pocketbook down the road.

If you need to make a claim with your insurance company after a bad storm, we are happy to help! Dealing with insurance can be a huge hassle, so we’re here to help you every step of the way. If you would like to enlist our help during your claims process, follow these steps below:

  1. Contact us, first to come out and inspect your home.

  2. After a thorough inspection, we will give you our recommendation for all the damage we have seen.

  3. If you have a claim, we will offer the homeowner our best advice on how to pursue it.

  4. Our honest assessment of the damage does not guarantee that the insurance company will cover everything.

  5. We would never want to waste a homeowner’s time, so if there is not a claim we will be upfront about it.

If our inspection proves that your home has sustained some storm damage, there is a certain process you should follow for the least headache and most effective outcome when filing a claim.

FOLLOW THESE SIMPLE STEPS TO ENSURE A HASSLE FREE CLAIM PROCESS

  1. Contact your agent of your Insurance Company and report that you may have hail damage to your home.

  2. The Insurance Company will contact you with the name and phone number of the Adjuster, along with the date and time that the Adjuster will be coming out to inspect your home. Contact your Field Representative with this information. To protect your best interests, we need to meet with your Adjuster and come to an agreement on the full scope of the damage to your home.

  3. After meeting with your Insurance Adjuster, you will send a copy of the Insurance Summary to our Field Representative to let us know what work the Insurance Company will be covering on your home and to set up a time to select the products and colors to be used on your home.

  4. We will work with you to pick out the best materials to start fixing your damage. This includes shingles, siding, gutters, etc. The project will also be scheduled at this time.

  5. Once we have a copy of the summary we can pick the type of materials(shingles, siding etc) you need and then the project can be scheduled.

  6. Upon completion of your project, our Inspector will examine the completed work and pick up any leftover materials.

  7. When your project is deemed complete, both you and your Insurance Company will receive a final invoice. When you receive the second and final check, from the Insurance Company, the remainder of the invoice is due.

We’re ready and eager to work with you! Contact us, in helping with your insurance claim.
